There’s a sleeping Roaming Chaplain in everyone (9)

The sleeping ROAMING CHAPLAIN could be anyone. They don’t have a particular look, ethnicity or social status, but they do have a heart that is in harmony with God.

Let’s address the problem,

The political and the religious world have been notorious throughout the centuries in creating the divide and conquer mindset.

Worldly Leadership has been hijacking our God given conscience and we have danced to their relentless tune of mental slavery.

In ancient times we called them tribes and tribal feuding. In more modern times we called it Lords, Priests & Royalty verses the peasants. In the Industrial Revolution, we call them industrialists and the working class.

Now we call it,

Unfortunately, we are creating the most sterile society in existence. We no longer carry opinions and we legislate against all kinds of ideas that may tilt the fragile Apple Cart of control and freedom.

Over two thousand year old wisdom never said it better

What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun

Same spirit, different times and terminology.

Even in the space age of technological splendour, there are those that seek to control and there are those who let them.

The ROAMING CHAPLAIN is that person who has allegiance to their God given conscience. They have grappled ever so hard within to be true and they lean on God’s gift of salvation through Jesus Christ to serve wherever they are led.

True to what?

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Imagine your whole life depended on these two principles, believing them and acting them out.

This is where the sleeping ROAMING CHAPLAIN in you will take your life back under the guidance of the almighty; rather than circumstances, dead beliefs and controlling people.

The only outcome you seek is fruit that does exactly the same, those we influence go to God for everything they need and in return they love their neighbour as themselves.

The feature pic was taken at a Perth, Westralian Australian Governors Prayer Breakfast a couple of weeks ago. Over 1200 guests from every strata of society. Potentially their are 1200 Roaming Chaplains in the making.

Remember when Elijah got all caught up in self pity thinking he was the only one who courageously stood up against evil.

Yet I reserve seven thousand in Israel—all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and whose mouths have not kissed him.”

We are not alone.
