An eternal perspective

“The problem with reaching the top of your Christian Mount Everest is that the air is thin, and there seems to be nowhere else to go.” πŸ”οΈβœ¨

It is incredibly easy for highly disciplined, ambitious people to treat their faith like a corporate ladder, smashing goals, hitting milestones, and climbing higher year after year. But if our drive is only hitched to temporal achievements, the view from the summit will always leave us feeling empty. Earthly peaks were never meant to permanently satisfy an eternal hunger.

When the air gets thin at the top, it’s a divine reminder to shift our focus from a summit to a horizon. An eternal perspective reminds us that the goal isn’t a finite destination to reach, but an infinite relationship to deepen.
